My background is in neuroscience and anthropology (I even contemplated graduate studies in ethology), so it was with wildlife that my photographic passion began. What I love about photography is that while it can cover an enormous aesthetic gamut, it has as its base a documentary reality that the scientist in me adores. Regardless how an image is captured or manipulated, the essence of truth — that what it is did exist or transpire — remains.

I have worked as a professional photographer, shooting events, real estate, headshots and branding, and I continue to sell stock images through agencies.
